I know this if off topic but I`m looking into starting my own blog and was wondering what all is required to get setup?

I`m assuming having a blog like yours would cost a pretty penny?
I`m not very web savvy so I`m not 100% sure. Any suggestions or advice would

When I originally left a comment I appear to have clicked
on the -Notify me when new comments are added-
checkbox and from now on every time a comment is added I get four emails with the exact same comment.
Perhaps there is a way you can remove me from that service?
